The aircraft needs live coordinates, heading, and a look at what’s above you. A browser can’t give us that reliably, so ordering lives in the app. The site is for joining the pilot and managing your account.
Your position updates until the aircraft commits to descent. If you drift out of the corridor — a boat swinging on anchor, for example — we hold and re-confirm with you before lowering.
We don't fly it. Orders are refunded before launch, and in-flight aircraft return to the driver. We'd rather cancel your ice than argue with a squall line.
Audible on approach, brief overall. The aircraft holds altitude during the winch rather than hovering low, which is the part that actually bothers people.
Yes — anchored or drifting slowly, in the covered bay zones. We ask for a clear patch of deck or the swim platform, and we won't lower over a bimini or rigging.
